The four casinos in Ohio reported a decline in revenues in June from the
previous month. However, in comparison to June 2014 three of the casinos have
had an increase.
Today a report was released by the Ohio Casino Control Commission showing a
$63.5 million total revenue earning for last month. The reported amount was
slightly less than June 2014.
The casino in Cleveland reported earning less revenues than the other three
casinos in the state. More activity was seen at the casino's slot machines and
card tables. The reported decline was $2.6 million.
Casinos in Columbus, Toledo, and Cincinnati reported an increase of $2.5 million
Overall, $409 million has been earned this year. The state will receive one
third of that money to aid the host communities, local schools, and counties.
