The law suit against VictoryLand casino has a new judge. Circuit Judge Ray Martin has been appointed to take over for Circuit Judge Tom Young.

The Alabama Supreme Court ordered the change. This was due to Young's negative statements regarding the state of Alabama handling the gambling laws when it comes to the Victoryland casino.

1,600 electronic gaming machines and cash were seized from the casino by the state attorney general. As well as over $223,000. A raid on the casino was held in February.

Young did comply with the order by the state's Supreme Court. Martin was the next senior judge in Macon County.

Victory Land's casino still remains closed.
