Plans for a new $1 million casino have been announced by The Confederated Tribes Of The Colville Reservation. The casino will be located in Inchelium at the Rainbow Beach Resort Development.

About 50 gaming machines will be in operation at the Twin Lakes Casino.

Keeping the size of the casino small would allow for the gaming venue to not affect the current gaming compact and the tribe's Class III gaming limits. Currently the tribe may have up to six casinos.

The Twin Lakes Casino will be classed as a Tier-A casino. This is based on the small size, the casino would not need to employ a large amount of people. Also a small amount of visitors everyday would manage to make the casino profitable.

The tribal group currently operates three casinos in northeast Washington.
