Construction is ready to start on the Tiverton Casino. The casino will be a Twin River Casino property.
On Wednesday the plan belonging to the Twin River Management Group was approved
by the town Planning Board.
45 acres on the town's north side will be developed for the new casino project.
Since the officials for the town approved the plan, the project is ready to move
forward. This was the last step that needed to be completed before that could
happen.
Groundbreaking will be scheduled in July. The exact date has not been released.
