Tulsa will be home to the new River Spirit Casino, slated to open next year in
2009. This will be one of the state's largest facilities for gaming.
Located at 81st Street and Riverside Drive, the casino will be 300,000 square
feet, a poker room with 15 tables, 24 table games, and over 2,800 machine games.
There will also be restaurants and a 1,300 car parking garage. A hotel,
theaters, and a conference center are planned for the future.
Currently the Creek Nation Casino is at this same location. Part of this casino
will have to be torn down. However there are plans for part of the building to
be used in the future.
