Members of the New York Resort Gaming Facility Location Board have been chosen.
On Wednesday the new members were appointed by the The New York State Gaming
Commission.
The development of four new casinos were approved by voters to be built in
upstate New York. These casinos will be developed off of tribal land.
The board will be setting the license fees. As well as researching community
support for proposed casinos. It is expected that applications for those casinos
will be due to be submitted in March.
June is the deadline for when the casino bids will be due.
