The Isleta Casino and Resort is now the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Albuquerque.
The official name change happened Friday with a grand opening ceremony.
$100 Million were spent in renovations and remodeling for the casino. 200
additional slot machines have been added. Also added is a new bar, Center Bar.
Music videos are played on TV's, music memorabilia are displayed in cases, and
art murals give the area a new look.
Large crowds visited the new casino over the weekend. It is hopeful that the
Hard Rock brand will bring in large dividends. The casino is owned by the Isleta
