A vote was passed today by the New Jersey Senate Government and Wagering
Committee to allow for on-site sport wagering licenses to be held by casinos and
racetracks. This will also allow for sports betting to take place over the phone
and internet. The vote was passed by 4 to 1.
New Jersey college games were not included in the proposal.
