Renovations for the Ojibwa Casinos have been approved. From the time the casinos opened, they have never undergone any updates. The casinos are located in Marquette and Baraga.

The Ojibwa Casino Marquette will spend $33.5 million on the renovations. Plans include a hotel with 80 guest rooms. Three new branded restaurants will be added. There will be a new gaming area with 500 slot machines. Also new conference and event centers.

On December 6 at 11AM, the project will break ground.

The Ojibwa Casino Baraga will spend $6.5 million on renovations.

The money will be used to upgrade infrastructure and expand the current casino floor.

Groundbreaking is scheduled to take place at 10AM on December 7.

The project at both casino locations is expected to be complete by the end of next year.
