A grand opening ceremony took place today for the Four Winds Dowagiac casino.
The official ribbon cutting was held in the morning. The casino is owned by the
Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. Members of the tribe were present for the
ceremony.
Located in the southwest region of the state, the casino is located on M-51
south of Dowagiac.
The Four Winds Dowagiac casino is a similar design style to the other Four Winds
Casinos in Hartford and New Buffalo. The casino operates four table games and
300 gaming machines. Guests will also enjoy the Timbers restaurant.
The casino officially opens to the public at noon on Tuesday, April 30.
