Louisiana will be celebrating 20 years of casino gaming next year. The state
will also see the opening of three new casinos.
One of the new casinos is Margaritaville Casino Resort. Construction is
happening now and should be complete in time for the grand opening in August of
2013. When finished, the property will have a resort hotel with 400 guest rooms,
a theater, and a pool. There will also be the Margaritaville Restaurant.

The developer for Margaritaville projects a growth of 12.5% and is certain the
casino location will attract visitors heading north to Oklahoma.
