Three different gaming companies presented their bids last Wednesday for the final state gaming permit. This will be the 15th license issued by the state.

Of the three bids, all of them meet the gaming restrictions required by the state. The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino purposed building their $165 million gaming facility in Lake Charles. Another purposed casino in Lake Charles is the $400 million Mojito Pointe casino. The third purposed casino would cost $145 million and would be the Hollywood Casino to be located in Harvey.

The decision is expected to be announced on Tuesday, February 15.
