PRESS RELEASE
LINCOLN, Calif., May 31 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of the build up to the grand
opening of its new hotel, spa, pool and expanded casino this July, Thunder
Valley Casino Resort will launch a new logo and website on June 1.
The new logo incorporates a subtle black bear paw print to represent the United
Auburn Indian Community as well the letters T and V for Thunder Valley. It was
developed by Mering Carson advertising and could actually be seen in the
background of the unexpectations.com billboards around Northern California over
the past several weeks.
"We designed a new logo because Thunder Valley Casino Resort is an entirely new
facility with luxurious amenities, exciting games and an unparalleled
experience," said General Manager CJ Graham. "From the moment guests pull into
the new 7-story parking garage and begin to notice all of the little unexpected
touches by our team members, they will see that it is unlike anything this
region has ever seen before."
The new website will be launched June 1 and will have the same url
www.thundervalleyresort.com but will look like nothing seen before in the casino
industry. The site will have an intuitive structure and friendly navigation that
will allow users to immediately find the information they need from any page.
Promotions will be highlighted in every section of the site and users will be
able to book hotel packages and rooms online as well as register for a Thunder
Club card and email and mobile communication updates.
There will also be an Asian version of the website launching July 1 with the
same content as the English version.
Thunder Valley Casino Resort was opened by the United Auburn Indian Community in
June 2003. The newly remodeled and expanded entertainment, dining and hotel
resort is Northern California's first casino offering all the elements of real
Las Vegas-style gaming: service, cuisine and entertainment in an outstanding
facility.
Located 30 miles east of Sacramento, Thunder Valley Casino Resort offers over
3,000 slot and video machines, 125 table games, a live poker room with space for
160 players and 14 restaurants and bars highlighted by the new High Steaks
Steakhouse; Koi Palace; a 500-seat Feast Around The World Buffet and Thunder
Café as well as Mingle Bar, Falls Bar, Thunder Bar and High Steaks Bar. Also on
property is a new 3,800-space parking structure that leads directly into the
casino and hotel.
The recent expansion of Thunder Valley Casino Resort includes a new
four-diamond-level, 17-story hotel with 297 rooms including 40 suites. Inside
the hotel is a 10,000 square-foot banquet and entertainment hall, meeting rooms,
bars and a gift shop. The hotel has an expansive pool that includes private
cabanas and Coconut, a poolside bar. The Spa at Thunder Valley will feature a
wide variety of treatments including the exclusive 24-carat gold leaf facial.
The expansion will be completed in July 2010.
