BROOKS, CA - Cache Creek Casino Resort in Yolo County has cancelled plans to
triple the size of its existing facitlities due to the the economic downturn.
The planned expansion would have added thousands of square feet for gambling,
450 new hotel rooms, a 62,500-square-foot event center and more dining and
shopping areas.
Brent Andrew, a spokesman for the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, says Cache Creek
will instead focus on the quality of its existing operations.
