After the Ho-Chunk Nation announced last week that the opening date for the Beloit casino is now projected for September this year, the MyStateline news team made this visit to the casino construction site.
The newscast estimates the construction of the Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit casino is 60% complete and confirms the grand opening is expected in September 2026.
The grand opening date for the new Beloit casino has been confirmed by the Ho-Chunk Nation. Ryan Greendeer, the tribe's government relations officer, said this week that construction was "on schedule" to open this September 2026.
The Ho-Chunk's original plan was to open the casino in the summer of 2026 and the hotel and conference cent in 2027. However, the construction schedule for the casino was pushed back after to a slight delay in the final financing. The building budget for the Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit is $705 million dollars.
The Ho-Chunk Nation has begun the hiring process for their new casino under construction in Beloit. Although the exact opening date of the Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit has not been officially announced, it is expected to open in September according to recently filed loan documents.

Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit will be hiring a limited number of supervisory employees in the next few months. However, the total number will rise significantly by June to allow time to train workers before the casino's grand opening.
Eventually, there will be 1,500 employees hired to operate the entire casino resort when the hotel and conference center are completed in 2027.
