Choctaw Casino Durant expansion will add 1,000 new jobs |

October 27, 2009 DURANT, OK - The Choctaw Casino Resort Durant expansion is scheduled to open in February 2010. Chief Gregory Pyle of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma said last week, "The new casino and resort will bring an economic boom to the community by adding new jobs and economic growth while providing services to meet the needs of tribal members." The expansion is expected to double the number of employees by adding approximately 1,000 new jobs. "Once the expansion is complete, the new Casino Resort will be a premium destination offering luxurious experiences that will give tourists another reason to visit Oklahoma," said Janie Dillard, the Executive Director of Gaming.
