The Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino Hopes to Break Ground

The Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino is hopeful to start construction on a permanent casino building this year.

The casino was opened in 2007. At the time a temporary building was erected and plans for a larger $330 million gaming facility were made. When the economy slowed down a year later, plans for the new construction were put on hold. Now that the economy has been growing, plans for the permanent casino are being redesigned.

The new building will be smaller than originally designed. It is hopeful that the plans will be finished in the next few months. Construction will begin shortly after that.

Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino is operated by the Seneca Gaming Corporation and is the third casino in the area owned by the group.
