September 8, 2009
VERONA, NY - Starting Labor Day, the Turning Stone Casino is changing the status of its five restaurants into private clubs so that guests may order alcoholic drinks with their dinners. This follows repeated denials by the state Liquor Authority to issue liquor licenses to the Oneida Indian Nation, which operates Turning Stone. Restaurant guest may buy $25 lifetime membership to drink in the restaurants and three lounges. Guests at their hotel, showroom, spa and golf courses will automatically get lifetime memberships.
