September 8, 2008 The Grand Biloxi Casino has received regulatory approval and now is fully opened following Hurricane Gustav. Owned by Harrah’s Entertainment, the Grand Biloxi Casino is over 33,000 square feet, 35 table games, and over 800 slot machines. Visitors must be 21 or older to gamble. The casino also has a 494 room hotel with pillow top bedding and plasma TV in each guest room. Also on the property is the Bellissimo Spa with full service salon and fitness center. Dining options include L.B.’s Steakhouse, The Grand Buffet, and Starbucks. The Grand Bear Golf Course will reopen on Friday and is a noted award winning Jack Nicholson Signature Course. When Hurricane Katrina damaged the Gulf Coast a few years ago, many of the casinos were damaged. This time when Hurricane Gustav came into the area the casinos were more prepared. This preparedness helped the Grand Biloxi Casino to reopen again so quickly. For more information on the casino or for hotel reservations, call 1-800-WIN-2-WIN or visit www.grandbiloxi.com.
