April 9, 2009 DUBUQUE – After months of renovation and expansion, the former Greyhound Park and Casino has reopened as the new Mystique Casino in Dubuque. The new facilities feature a new buffet and an entertainment venue. Mystique General Manager Jesus Alives said, "I think we stepped it up a notch and now we have this beautiful, classy restaurant, wonderful buffet. We will have an excellent event center. The whole place has taken a total transformation.” Mystique's renovation follows the earlier opening of the Diamond's Jo new multi-million dollar complex. G.M. Alives said, "even if we were the only casino in town we would still do this to offer our guests a total satisfaction experience, they come to a casino to have fun." Return to Iowa Casinos. |
