Horseshoe puts former casino catamaran up for sale

BURNS HARBOR, IN - The old casino boat that once housed the Horseshoe casino in Hammond is now docked in Burns Harbor at the Port of Indiana with a “For Sale” sign on it. The asking price for the 288-foot catamaran is $15 million.

Lou Daleo is the ship broker. He says the likely market for this boat is overseas. He has sold similar ones for casinos in Singapore and India. He has also sold one to South America that was retrofitted as a floating hospital on the Amazon river.
