Barona Resort & Casino Hosts Party Pit

Grab your pocket protectors, the nerds are taking over Barona Resort & Casino and hosting a Party Pit marathon with a nerdy twist. On Thursday, Jan. 26, Barona will transform the Chipless Games pits into a pop-up Party Pit featuring exciting table game action, cash giveaways and more.

From 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., Club Barona members are invited to jump into the Party Pit and enjoy dozens of fun ways to win cash prizes including a "hot seat" drawing, mini blinko as well as high/low and black card/red card games. The Funk Experience featuring DJ Tommy will also put guests into a groove with dance contests, "name that tune" and trivia games via Facebook and Foursquare check-ins. Guests are encouraged to come dressed in their nerdiest costumes.

Known as San Diego's loosest casino, Barona offers 2,000 video poker machines and slots, monitored by The Barona Loose Troop(R) to ensure they are the loosest around.
