New Soboba Casino Hotel Planned

SOBOBA INDIAN RESERVATION – The Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians plan to replace their existing casino with a new 90,000-square-foot casino and a 300-room hotel.

The location will be on 290 acres the tribe will annex along Lake Park and Soboba Road northeast of San Jacinto.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs of the Department of the Interior will receive comments on this plan from local residents. They have scheduled a public meeting January 8th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hemet Public Library.
