The new $23 million Cherokee Casino Grove is located on a 24-acre site near the intersection of Highway 59 and East 250 Road, which is known locally as Tom Cat Corner. The official groundbreaking was March 28, 2016 and its grand opening was December 19, 2016.
Cherokee Casino Grove is the 10th and newest casino owned by the Cherokee Tribe of Oklahoma. The tribe also owns casinos in Fort Gibson, Ramona, Roland, Sallisaw, South Coffeyville, West Siloam Springs, Tahlequah, Will Rogers Downs, and the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa.
