Lucky Star Destination Resort Planned for Elk City

The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes announced plans this week to build a new Lucky Star destination resort in Elk City, Oklahoma. The project will be family-oriented and include a casino, hotel, convention center, family-friendly entertainment, RV park and a travel plaza.
FEATURES
Casino Hotel - The property is designed as an entertainment hub for West Oklahoma. It will include casino gaming, dining and family-oriented entertainment. The hotel will offer 100 guest rooms.
Convention Center - This facility is designed for community events, conferences and banquets.
RV Park - There will be 40 hookups available for RV travelers.
Travel Plaza - This travel center facility will provide fuel service, food and drinks, and other convenience services.
Other - No other details have been released at this time.
TIMELINES
The Lucky Star Elk City project is in the planning stage. The plans have not been finalized and changes may be made. No projected date has been announced for breaking ground for construction. The timeframe for construction has not been determined, and the target date for opening is unknown.
