Hard Rock to buy The Mirage in Las Vegas<

Hard Rock International announced an agreement Monday to buy The Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2022.

The Mirage will be rebranded "Hard Rock Las Vegas" and a guitar-shaped hotel tower will be built at the front along the Las Vegas Strip. No further details were announced at this time regarding Hard Rock changes and additions to the existing property.

Hard Rock International will buy The Mirage Hotel and Casino from MGM Resorts International for $1.08 billion. The land is owned by MGM Growth Properties, which is selling to VICI Properties for $17.2 billion. Hard Rock will make lease payments to VICi Properties.
