The Seneca Allegany Casino opened on May 1, 2004. It was authorized by a gaming compact signed between Governor George E. Pataki and the Seneca Nation of Indians on August 18, 2002.

Seneca Allegany Casino Celebrates 15th Anniversary

The Seneca Allegany Casino opened its doors on May 1, 2004. Its 15th anniversary was celebrated May 1 in the hotel lobby by casino employees, tribe officials and the public. It included the cutting of a birthday cake, guest speakers, and traditional Seneca dancers.

The original casino was located in what is today the event center. There was only one restaurant and no hotel.

Over the past 15 years the casino has grown and expanded its facilities. In 2007 the hotel was opened. In 2008 the events center was opened. A second hotel tower was added in 2012, and guest rooms were totally renovated in 2018.
