The Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation brings decades of successful gaming expertise from its flagship Yaamava' Resort & Casino in Southern California. Palms is one of the first major Las Vegas casino-resorts fully owned and operated by a federally recognized Tribe, marking a significant advancement in sovereign economic development.

The tribe purchased the Palms Casino Resort for $650 million from Red Rock Resorts in December 2021. Red Rock had bought the property in 2016 for $312.5 million and completed a $690 million renovation in 2019. The sale and license were approved by the Nevada Gaming Control Commission on December 17, 2021.
