Grand Casino Hinckley is an Indian-gaming casino and hotel located in north central Minnesota about 20 miles east of Interstate 35 on State Highway 48. The casino is owned by the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe which also owns the Grand Casino Mille Lacs.

Grand Casino Hinckley

The Grand Casino Hinckley is an Indian-gaming casino that opened in 1992 in Hinckley, Minnesota. The casino is open 24/7 and features 2,144 slot machines including 900 progressive slots. Most are peny or two-penny slotsd. Other gaming includes blackjack, bingo and pull tabs.

Grand Casino Milles Lac, Hinckley celebrate hotel grand openings

Grand Casinos at Milles Lac and Hinckley celebrated grand openings of their hotels last week following a multi-million dollar upgrade to all 1,100 guest rooms. Each hotel celebrated the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Every room and suite at both hotels has been upgraded during the nine-month long project.

Rooms now feature contemporary designs, high-quality bedding, updated entertainment systems, and an array of new comfort amenities for the guest experience. New themed suites include an upscale presidential suite, a Scandinavian spa-themed suite, and a speakeasy-themed suite.

Cultural art is displayed throughtout the hotels. Fourteen indigenous artists were commissioned to craft elements of the Ojibwe culture into the hotel decors.

Grand Casinos to Undergo Renovations

Two casinos owned by the Mille Lacs Band Of Ojibwe will be undergoing renovations and expansions.

The two casinos are the Grand Casino Mille Lacs and the Grand Casino Hinckley.

Plans for the Onamia casino location include a dining venue, a Brand Burger Bar. It will be 4,600 square feet. There will also be te new 1991 Kitchen. Named after the year the casino opened, it will be a food court.

The new Stories Diner will be added to the Grand Casino Hinckley. Located near the convention area it will be 7,425 square feet. The diner will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The buffets at both locations will be changed to Grand Provisions and offer a variety of cuisines.

Other changes to the properties will include renovations to the gaming areas. Carpets, signage, lighting, and wall coverings will all be changed.
