Chicken Ranch Casino Resort

Chicken Ranch Casino Resort opened July 15, 2024 adjacent to the original Chicken Ranch Casino, which has operated since 1985. The official grand opening was celebrated Nov. 9, 2024.

The new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort is located in the Sierra Nevada foothills in the town of Jamestown, California. The distance is an hour from Yosemite National Park and two hours from San Francisco International Airiport.

Chicken Ranch Casino Resort is owned and operated by the Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians.

History
The original Chicken Ranch Casino opened as a bingo hall in 1985. The bingo hall became a casino when slot machines were added in 2000. A major renovation project in 2011 added more slot machines and a restaurant. In May 2019 the casino expanded to 600 slot machines, 9 table games, and a 900-seat bingo hall. Today the original casino operates as the only smoking area on the property.

Name Origin
The name "Chicken Ranch" was branded on the Me-Wuk Indians living in the Sierra Nevada foothills by the federal government in 1908.

"Obviously, they couldn't write down what our name was. They said you live on Chicken Ranch Road, so here's your name: Chicken Ranch Rancheria."

The Chicken Ranch Band of Me-Wuk Indians were federally recognized in 1985. Their reservation is 2.85-acres of land in Tuolumne County, and their population was 164 in the 2010 Census.

Chicken Ranch Casino Resort will celebrate its official Grand Opening today with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled at noon. The event is part of a three-day weekend celebration marking the completion of the new casino resort. The casino began operating July 15th after a soft opening, and construction has since completed the restaurants and 12,000 square feet of event space.

The public is invited to visit the new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort this weekend and explore its many features and amenities, including the 100,000 sq-ft casino, five restaurant, 197-room hotel with a rooftop restaurant, and the 12,000-sq-ft conference and event center. There will be live music, special promotions, and free giveaways.

The first 1,000 visitors today will receive a free limited-edition T-shirt commemorating the grand opening. Visitors can also participate in the Wild Ride Giveaway of a 2024 Chevy Tahoe. The winner will be announced at 9 pm. There will also be live concerts performed by Journey Revisited and country artist Walker Hayes. Tickets are $50 and doors open at 6 pm.

Chicken Ranch Casino Resort Completes Construction

October 28, 2024

The final phase of construction is finished for the new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort in Jamestown. All work was completed in time for the Nov. 9th grand opening celebration. The final project was finishing 12,000-square-feet of new meeting and event space this month. The work includes a ballroom, three meeting rooms, a boardroom, and two pre-function areas.

Chicken Ranch Casino Resort has added two new and exciting venues to its dining area. The new Proper & Plume Cocktail Lounge specializes in modern cocktail creations, and the TWLV Kitchen & Bar serves farm-to-table foods, craft beers and cocktails.

Proper & Plume Cocktail Lounge offers an extraordinary experience with a menu of impressive cocktails. The highlighted cocktails are Summer Dreamin', a mix of "Crown Royal Peach, honey syrup, lemon juice, ginger bitters, and iced tea", and the Spiced Strawberry Buck, a "sweet and sour blend of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, lime juice, Liquid Alchemist Strawberry Syrup, aromatic bitters, and ginger beer". There are also classics like the Very Pink Cosmopolitan and the Smokey Tequila Sunrise.

The time and events of that July 15th soft opening have not been announced. An official grand opening will be celebrated later this Fall.

The Chicken Ranch soft opening will provide the public with early access to the new casino resort and provide management with an opportunity to test and adjust the new operation. There are nearly 400 new employees that have been trained for the casino and hotel, who will now get real-time experience needed for serving the customers. Feedback from customers will be critical in fine-tuning products and services before the grand opening this Fall.

The Chicken Ranch hotel is alreacy accepting online room reservations for dates beginning July 15th. The five-story hotel has 175 guest rooms, 22 suites, scenic views, a day spa, fitness center, a rooftop pool, a rooftop restaurant, and a 12,000-square-foot conference and event center.

The new 100,000 sq-ft Chicken Ranch casino is smoke-free and has 900 slot machines and 12 table games. The original Chicken Ranch Casino, which first opened in 1985, is located nearby and will provide a smoking gaming area.

This restaurant is on the top floor and specializes in upscale steaks, wines, whiskey, and appetisers. Hours are Thursdays and Sundays from 5 PM - 10 PM Fridays and Saturdays from 4 PM to 10 PM.

This restaurant and bar specializing in brick-oven pizza, nachos, wings, and micro brews. It features features TV screens and tabletop gaming. Hours are 10 AM to 11 PM daily.

Chicken Ranch Casino Resort adds Wahlburgers

The Chicken Ranch Rancheria announced Tuesday that a Wahlburgers Burger Restaurant will debut inside the new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort when the casino opens for the first time on July 15th.

Wahlburgers was founded by actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg and their brother Paul, the chef. The restaurant menu is "American comfort food with a contemporary twist".

Chicken Ranch Casino plans to "hatch" its new resort next month on July 15th. This week the casino announced four of the resort's new restaurants and bars which will open on that day.

Chicken Ranch Casino Resort will hold a soft opening on Monday July 15. The following new food and drink venues will be open:

Perch Rooftop Dining: This upscale restaurant is located on the top floor of the new Chicken Ranch resort hotel with breath-taking views from the dining room and the outside patio. The cuisine is American fusion and specializes in "steaks cooked in a Montague Steakhouse Broiler, oyster shooters, Dungeness crab, Iberico ham, and artisan breads". The restaurant includes a full bar with top-shelf whiskeys.

(209) Sports Bar + Kitchen: This gastro-pub will feature HDTV screens, tabletop gaming, and two private dining rooms. The food specialty is brick-oven pizzas along with nachos, wings, and salads. A variety of draft beer are served from local and regional microbreweries.

Quill Bar This new Chicken Ranch casino bar serves cocktails, spirits, and its signature drink, The Magic Mixture Cocktail.

Trailblazer Coffee Company This coffee shop specializes in coffee and espresso all day. The shop serves light meals for lunch and dinner and in between serves afternoon spiked coffee, such as espresso old fashioned and Irish coffee.

After three years of construction, the new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort will be opening on Monday July 15th. The casino announced the date yesterday as a soft opening. The grand opening will come in the fall after construction is finished on the large convention center and the remaining restaurants.

The existing Chicken Ranch Casino features 30,000 square-feet with 600 slot machines, 9 table games and a bingo hall. The new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort will have 100,000 square feet with 900 slot machines and 12-14 table games, a Cyber Quest arcade, a 197-room hotel with a rooftop pool, and a conference center.

Chicken Ranch Casino Resort needs to hire and train nearly 400 employees before its grand opening this summer. Several hiring fairs were held this month and more are expected next month.

The next scheduled hiring fair is Tuesday, April 2 from 11 am to 7 pm. The event will include all available positions, and will be held in the Event Hall at Chicken Ranch Casino, 16929 Chicken Ranch Road, Jamestown, CA 95327.

Construction of the all-new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort in Jamestown continues on-schedule for a grand opening celebration this summer. The Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians will announce the exact date closer to the opening day.

The new casino resort will replace the existing Chicken Ranch Casino with a larger casino floor, more slot machines and table games, new restaurants and bars, and a 197-room hotel. The hotel will offer a day spa, fitness center, and a rooftop pool.

Nearly 400 new employees need to be hired and trained prior to the grand opening. If interested, apply online here.

Chicken Ranch Casino has over 70 classifications of open job positions. Examples are assistant general manager, banker, bartender, beverage server, cage cashier, guest room attendant, hotel shift supervisor, line cook, security officer, shuttle driver, slot attendant, slot operations shift supervisor and table games dealers.

Construction of the new Chicken Ranch Casino, Resort and Conference Center began Sept. 21, 2021. The new hotel will feature 196 guest rooms, a convention center, and new restaurants.

In a press release this month, Chicken Ranch Casino announced the hiring of Eric Barbaro as the new general manager. Barbaro has 15 years of experience with casinos including MGM Resorts, Tropicana Las Vegas, Station Casinos, and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe.

Construction of the new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort began last year on Sept. 21, 2021. Completion is scheduled for next year; however, a specific date has not been announced.

The new casino will replace the existing Chicken Ranch Casino, which continues to operate 24/7. The old casino is 30,000 square feet with 600 slot machines, 9 table games and a 900-seat bingo hall.

The video shows the completion of the steel framing for the casino, hotel and conference center. The floors are poured for the 5-story hotel. The current casino is shown on the slope above the construction site. It will continue to operate untile the new casino opens in 2024.

New Chicken Ranch Casino celebrates 'topping off' milestone

October 14, 2022

The Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians and construction crews of the new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort celebrated a major milestone last Wednesday with a topping-off ceremony as the final steel beam was lifted into place atop the casino.

The steel beam had been signed by tribal members, casino employees and crew workers. Children added handprints. The beam was adorned with a spruce tree, a tribal flag and the American flag before it was raised into position and completed the steel framework.

A luncheon was served by Rollin' Smoke BBQ of Oakdale, which provided brisket, pulled pork, chicken and sides for 300 guests and workers. A raffle followed the luncheon with prizes for winning tickets.

The new Chicken Ranch Casino will be the tallest structure in Tuolumne County. The height will be raised to nine stories when the new hotel is built.

All-New Chicken Ranch Casino & Resort planned for 2024

Last week the Chicken Ranch Rancheria Me-Wuk Indians of California announced plans to replace the Chicken Ranch Casino with an all-new casino, hotel and conference center. Construction will begin this summer and finish in 2024

.

The new Chicken Ranch Casino & Resort will be built downhill from the current casino, which will remain open throughout the construction period.

Visitors and tribal leaders gathered at the Chicken Ranch Casino for the official ribbon cutting ceremony to open the casino's new gaming area.

Chicken Ranch Casino celebrated the addition of 247 new slot machines, 9 table games and a new coffee bar. The total slot machines at the casino is now 600.

Tribal Chairman Lloyd Mathiesen told visitors, "We have 247 new machines, and also a coffee bar that we call 'The Roost,' with paninis, pastries, lattes and other coffee drinks. And for the first time ever, we have tables, nine total. We have four blackjack, a couple of double decks, and even Ultimate Texas Shuffle, a pretty new game, that not too many people have around here. It is very exciting."

The original Chicken Ranch Casino opened as a bingo hall in 1985. Slot machines were added in 2000. The casino was later expanded in 2011 and 2019.

The all-new Chicken Ranch Casino, Resort and Conference Center was added in mid-2024.
