Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Expands Smoke-Free Gaming With Temporary Casino During Renovation

The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is launching a major gaming-floor renovation this fall and will temporarily convert its Hard Rock Event Center into a smoke-free casino to maintain full operations and meet rising demand for clean-air gaming environments.
Beginning October 2026, the main casino floor will undergo extensive upgrades, including new carpeting, seating, table felts, ceiling treatments, and an expanded footprint for permanent smoke-free gaming. The renovation project is targeted for completion in early 2027, with the property aiming to reopen the refreshed gaming floor during Q1 2027.
