Eagle Mountain Casino Promotes Summer 2027 Resort Opening, Reveals Lazy River

Eagle Mountain Casino is now promoting a summer 2027 opening for its new hotel resort in Porterville, providing a more specific timeline for the $220 million expansion and revealing that the property's outdoor amenities will include a lazy river.
The casino's LinkedIn company profile states that Eagle Mountain Casino will open the doors to a 193-room hotel and resort in summer 2027. The description lists rooftop dining, a lazy river, pool, convention center, spa and arcade among the planned features
The summer opening window is more precise than the general timeline previously provided for the project. Eagle Mountain Casino's expansion webpage currently advertises the property as "Coming in 2027," while Tutor Perini Corporation, the project's general contractor, previously said substantial completion was anticipated in 2027.
An exact opening date has not been announced.

Tutor Perini's original description of the expansion included a resort pool, spa and arcade but did not specifically identify a lazy river. Eagle Mountain Casino now lists the lazy river and pool separately in its description of the future resort.

The resort pool was included in the construction scope announced when the expansion broke ground in July 2025.

The project also includes the expansion of an existing restaurant. Tutor Perini has not identified which restaurant will be expanded or described the changes planned for the venue.
Events and convention facilities planned
Another major component is a new 2,000-seat events center with convention space, breakout meeting rooms and pre-function areas.
The combination of hotel rooms, resort amenities, dining and meeting facilities will allow Eagle Mountain Casino to add overnight accommodations and expand its ability to host events and conventions.
Support facilities included in the construction contract consist of a central warehouse and offices. Those facilities will support the casino and resort's operations but are not guest amenities.

Tutor Perini Building Corp. was awarded the approximately $220 million construction contract by the Tule River Gaming Authority. The company announced the contract on July 1, 2025, the same day Eagle Mountain Casino held the official groundbreaking for the resort expansion.
The project's confirmed scope consists of the 193-room hotel tower and rooftop restaurant, resort amenities, an expanded restaurant, the events and convention facilities, and operational support buildings.
Although Eagle Mountain Casino is now promoting summer 2027 as the resort's opening window, the property has not announced a firm opening date or begun accepting hotel reservations.
