Graton Casino Expansion Opens Monday

Graton Resort & Casino will open its major expansion this Monday, May 4, unveiling a new 144,000-square-foot, fully smoke-free gaming floor that significantly increases the resort's slot, table game, and dining capacity in Northern California. The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria are marking one of the largest tribal gaming upgrades in the region with the debut of this new casino wing.

The expansion adds nearly 2,000 additional slot machines, a new poker room, and a high-limit gaming area, creating one of the largest gaming floors in the state. The smoke-free design reflects the Tribe's investment in a cleaner, more modern casino experience.

Three new dining venues also open Monday, including AYA, a rooftop restaurant led by chef Roy Ellamar; Playbook Sports Bar, featuring a massive halo screen; and SoCo Dough Co., offering artisanal doughnuts and desserts.

As of Monday's launch, no opening-day ceremonies or public events have been announced for the expansion debut.

The May 4 opening marks the first phase of Graton's multi-year, $1 billion resort expansion, with additional hotel towers, a new pool complex, and a 3,500-seat theater planned through 2027.
