Red Hawk Casino will build 75,000-square-foot entertainment center

Red Hawk Casino plans to build a large entertainment center with a bowling alley, indoor go-carting and virtual reality gaming suites. There will also be meeting rooms, a snack bar and a cocktail bar.
The entertainment center will be 75,000 square feet built above the northern half of the casino's parking garage. The garage will also be expanded to provide 560 more parking spaces.
The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians, owners of the Red Hawk Casino, has published an environmental impact report for the project which now has a 45 days for public review. The tribe will then negotiate with El Dorado County to mitigate and compensate the environmental impact of the project.

Red Hawk Casino breaks ground on 5-story hotel

Red Hawk Casino has begun construction of a 5-story hotel with 156 rooms including 25 suites, a pool and a fitness center. The groundbreaking was held Thursday, June 24, and the completion date is expected in fall of 2022.
The hotel is the first major expansion project at the casino since Red Hawk opened in 2008. The hotel will be attached to the casino building.
Red Hawk Casino is an Indian gaming casino owned by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians. The casino is located about 30 miles east of Sacramento in Placerville, California.
