The grand opening of the St. Croix Casino was July 31, 2010. It was built for $55 million by the St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin.

St. Croix Casino Danbury is one of three casinos owned by the St. Croix Chippewa. The tribe also owns St. Croix Casino Turtle Lake in Turtle Lake, WI, and St. Croix Casino Hertel in Webster, WI.

St. Croix Casino in Turtle Lake opens sportsbook

St. Croix Casino in Danbury, Wisconsin celebrated the grand opening of its new sports betting room named 'The Book' last Saturday April 16. The Book opening followed the same event held at Turtle Lake the day before. A 10 AM ribbon-cutting was followed by a ceremonial first bet.

The sports betting facility at St. Croix Casino Danbury cost $80,000 and includes four betting kiosks, a bar, lounge and seven TV monitors.
