Nisqually Red Wing Casino

Nisqually Red Wind Casino is an Indian gaming casino owned by the Nisqually Indian Tribe. The casino is located in Olympia, Washington.

Nisqually Red Wind Casino opened May 1, 1997. In 2015 the casino added a new two-story, 40,000 sq-ft wing. It is a smoke-free environment with 27,000 sq-ft of new gaming space. The expansion included 600 new slot machines and table games, a new deli, bar, gift shop, ice cream and espresso bar.

In early 2018 the Nisqually Indian Tribe announced development of a Master Plan to provide 5 year, 10 year and 20 year growth objectives. Contractors were invited to submit proposals by February 7, 2018 to include a building a hotel, expanding the casino and adding new restaurant and entertainment facilities.

The Red Wind Casino has enhanced its face mask standards to ensure a safer health environment for guests. Several types of face coverings are now unacceptable in the casino. These includes any face covering with a vent, face shields without a mask, bandanas, and loose-fitting masks.

Red Wind Casino reopened today May 18

May 18, 2020

The Nisqually Tribe opened the Red Wind Casino today at 8:00 AM after 2 months of closure for the COVID-19 pandemic. The facility reopened as a 100% smoke-free casino.

The reopening plan includes limited operating hours, limited crowd sizes, limited gaming and limited dining options. Guests are required to have a temperature check and to wear a mask.

The new Red Wind Casino hours are 8:00am-4:00am daily. The number of slot machines have been reduced to half by turning off every other machine. Table games and keno are not available.

Restaurants have been rearranged with maximum spacing and fewer tables tables proper distancing of guests.
