The Emerald Queen Casino in Fife opened December 13, 2004. The casino is one of three owned by the Puyallup Tribe of Indians. The other two casinos are the new Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma and BJ's Bingo & Gaming in Fife.

The Puyallup Tribe reopened the Emerald Queen Casino in Fife this morning at 10 AM after weeks of closure to prevent the spread of COVID-19. For the health and safety of guests and employees, a temperature check is required upon entry, gaming machines are spaced for social distancing and capacity is reduced to 30%. Full capacity is 12,000 guests. Guests are expected to wear personal masks.
Paradise Deli is open for dining. All other food venues are temporarily closed. The hotel remains temporarily closed.
The new Emerald Queen Casino under construction in Tacoma will open in early June.
