Of the project cost, a large percentage was spent on the labor for the construction process. While the hotel was being built there were 320 construction workers employed. $45 million was spent on construction. The remainder of the money was budgeted for road and utility infrastructure, areas for maintenance and a warehouse.

In an effort to retain employees, the new hotel will be higher wages then other nearby hotels. Staff will receive $2 to $3 more an hour than what is offered elsewhere. They will also have healthcare benefits and a free meal during each shift.
Until the new hotel was complete there were four metro area casinos owned by tribes that did not offer a hotel.
