The grand opening was celebrated the following week on Feb. 19,2019.
The Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel is located 10 miles north of Pocatello off I-15 at exit 80. This facility originally opened as the Shoshone-Bannock Hotel and Event Center in July 2012.
Then in Feb. 2019 a new casino with a 72,984 square-foot gaming floor opened on the west side, and a new bingo hall with 8,084 square-feet opened on the north side. The former Fort Hall Casino was closed and its gaming equipment was moved into the new casino.
The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes own and operate three casino locations in Fort Hall, Idaho. These are the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel, Sage Hill Casino and Travel Center, and the Bannock Peak Casino and Truck Stop.

The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes will celebrate the opening of their Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel on Feb 13. There will be a ceremony with brief speeches by tribal leaders and casino executives followed by traditional; dancing and a ribbon cutting.
The new Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel will feature a new 85,463 square foot casino gaming floor located on the west side of the hotel and events center. On the north side will be a new bingo hall, buffet and lounge, and an additional 300 new parking spaces.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Feb 23. Visitors will enjoy day-long promotions, entertainment and giveaways.Back
