$12M Upgrade in 2019

In early 2019 Coeur d'Alene Casino completed a $12M renovation and upgrade. A high-limit gaming room was added to the casino along with a powerful HVAC air system. The stage at the event center was doubled in size, and the seating was replacesd with multi-tiers for better viewing.

The new Discovery Den at Coeur d'Alene Casino offers casino guests the opportunity to play newly-designed casino games in their final testing phase before production. The machines will be replaced quarterly with next-generation designs.

Coeur d'Alene Casino reopens May 1

April 30, 2020

The Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel began a phased reopening April 27 in preparation for the general public to return on May 1. The casino has been closed since March 20.

Strict safety measures will be followed by employees and guests including mandatory face-coverings and social distancing, and employees will follow enhanced cleaning standards throughout the facilities. The property will be closed from 3 a.m. - 7 a.m. every day for a deep and thorough cleaning.

Most restaurants will reopen including Chinook Steak, Pasta & Spirits, Huckleberry Deli, Jackpot Java & Creamery, Nighthawk Lounge and The Wolf Den Bar. The buffet will remain closed at this time.

Entertainment is cancelled until July. Refunds are available for all rescheduled or cancelled shows.

The hotel will reopen May 1. All reservations during the closure will be refunded.

Spa Ssakwa'q'n will reopen May 1. Social distancing and enhanced cleaning will be maintained. The spa will be closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays for deep cleaning.

The Circling Raven Golf Club reopened April 27 with an enhanced cleaning program and social distancing.

Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort named 'Tribal Destination of the Year'

October 4, 2019

Coeur d'Alene Resort Casino was named "Tribal Destination of the Year" at the 21st annual American Indian Tourism Conference in Oklahoma last month. The honor was awarded for the resort's Cultural Tourism Program of educating visitors about the history, heritage and culture of the Coeur d'Alene Tribe.

The Coeur d'Alene Resort Casino offers visitors the opportunity to experience bison ranch tours, guided hikes, canoe trips and tours of the Steptoe Battle site.

Earlier this year the National Tour Association selected Coeur d'Alene Resort Casino as a 2019 Silver Medal winner in its list of "Distinguished Dozen" destinations and tour suppliers.

Coeur d'Alene Casino $12M Upgrade Opens March 2019

The Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort is nearing the completion of a a $12,000 renovation project. It includes a facelift and upgrades to 68,400 square feet of gaming and event space.

Coeur d'Alene Casino CEO explained "We want to be the standout. We always want to be on the leading edge of gaming. The market is getting so saturated with gaming, so we want to be very competitive."

There are three major changes to the casino area. First, the gaming floor has been redesigned. Second, a new high-limit gaming room will be added including a corner bar. And lastly a powerful HVAC air system will remove smoke throughout the gaming area

EVENT CENTER
There are two important changes coming to the event center. The stage will be doubled in size to accomodate larger performances, and the existing seating will be replaced by multi-tiered seating with better viewing.

Major renovation is underway at Coeur d'Alene Casino

November 17, 2018

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Coeur d'Alene Casino there is a large scale renovation in progress.

In October the $15 million project began. It will bring updates and renovations to the casino. It is scheduled to be completed in March 2019.

Tribal elements will be incorporated into the new design of the casino.

To better assist with smoke removal, there will be a new system to filter the air better.

There will also be a new area for high limit gaming. As well as a new corner bar.

The casino currently offers 1,400 gaming machines. There are also six restaurants, and a hotel with 300 guest rooms.
