Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino

The Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino is under construction on a 75-acre site located 3 miles south of the existing Seminole Brighton Casino, which opened in 1980. The property will include a 10-acre lake and 1,000 parking spaces for visitors.

The new Brighton casino be 27,000 square-feet with 640 slot machines including 101 slots in a smoke-free area and 42 slots in a high-limit gaming area. Eighteen table games will include blackjack, baccarat and other Class III games. Four of the tables will be in the high-limit area.

The new Brighton hotel will be four stories with 100 guest rooms, a fitness center, a 1,500-square-foot pool and a 12,500-square-foot pool deck. Entertainment venues will include at an indoor event center, an outdoor stage, and an 10-lane bowling alley.

Status

The ground breaking for the Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino was held Jan. 5, 2023. Construction is expected to be completed in Feb. 2025. Updates will be posted here as they develop.

New Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino celebrates construction milestone

Construction of the new Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino near Lake Okeechobee reached a major milestone this week when the final steel beam was hoisted into place atop the new casino, hotel and entertainment structure.

The topping-off ceremony included an old Scandinavian tradition of attaching a pine tree to the beam before lifting it into place. The beam was covered with signatures from onsite construction crews and casino officials to celebrate the individual efforts to achieve this milestone.

I thank everyone involved in this project, from the designers and engineers to the day-to-day laborers that are showing the world what the Seminole Tribe is truly about - unconquered vision, unparalleled service and unlimited future."

Construction of the Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino is scheduled for completion in Feb. 2025. The new casino will replace the existing Seminole Casino Brighton, which has operated since 1980.

this week the Seminole Tribe of Florida broke ground on a brand-new casino hotel on the Brighton Reservation in Okeechobee, FL. The location is 3 miles south of the existing Seminole Brighton Casino, which will close when the new casino opens in Feb. 2025. The old casino has operated since 1980.

The new Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino will feature a larger casino with mores slot machines. A smoke-free area will host 101 slot machines, and a high-limit area will offer 42 slot machines and 4 table games. Total slots will be 640. Table games will total 18 including blackjack, baccarat, three-card poker and ultimate Texas hold'em.

The new Brighton hotel will feature 100 guest rooms, a fitness center, a 1,500 sq-ft pool with a 12,500 sq-ft pool deck, a 900-seat indoor event space, a 3,000-seat outdoor stage, and an eight-lane bowling alley.
