Red Hawk Casino is building a 5-story hotel adjacent to the casino and an 85,000-square-foot amusement complex above the parking garage. Both additions will open in Fall 2022. The hotel will encompass 120,000 square feet and feature 150 guest rooms including 25 suites, a pool and outdoor terrace, and a fitness center. Red Hawk Casino is an Indian gaming casino owned by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians. The casino is located in Placerville, California, about 30 miles east of Sacramento on Highway 50.
Red Hawk Casino opened December 17, 2008 and features 2,500 slot machines, 75 table games, high-limit gaming area and a poker room. A 150-room hotel will open in the Fall of 2022 (See story). A new entertainment center is also planned with a bowling alley, indoor go-carting and virtual reality gaming suites (Details).

Red Hawk Casino is adding a new hotel and an amusement complex later this year. The hotel will feature 125 guest rooms and 25 suites, an outdoor terrace, pool and fitness center. The amusement complex will offer bowling, indoor go-kart racing, golf simulation bays and an arcade.
Construction on the five-story hotel is progressing towards completion later this year. A "topping off" celebration was held June 17 to mark the placement of the final steel beam, which completed the structural framework of the hotel. The grand opening is expected this fall.
An 85,000-square-foot amusement center will open for all ages near the time of the hotel opening. The location will be off the casino and above the parking garage, which has been enlarged by 20%.

Red Hawk Casino is adding a 5-story, 150-room hotel adjacent to the casino. Construction began with a groundbreaking June 24, 2021 and is scheduled for completion this Fall. Construction is currently on schedule according to the casino.
The hotel project is 120,000 square feet comprising 150 guest rooms including 25 suites and an outdoor terrace with a pool and fitness center. The hotel design includes traditional design elements of the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians and scenic views of the surrounding foothills.
The Red Hawk Hotel is designed by Williams and Paddon Architects and Planners and the construction companies are Level 10 Construction and Avanti Builders Inc.
New Entertainment Center
There has not been no information about a groundbreaking for the new entertainment center announced in 2021. The project will be built on off-reservation land, which requires additional approvals and an intergovernmental agreement with the County to compensate for the cost of public services and safety.
The planned entertainment center will occupy 75,000 square feet of space and feature a bowling alley, virtual reality gaming suites, and indoor go-carting. The parking garage will be enlarged to provide 20 percent more parking spaces.

Red Hawk Casino plans to build a large entertainment center with a bowling alley, indoor go-carting and virtual reality gaming suites. There will also be meeting rooms, a snack bar and a cocktail bar.
The entertainment center will be 75,000 square feet built above the northern half of the casino's parking garage. The garage will also be expanded to provide 560 more parking spaces.
The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians, owners of the Red Hawk Casino, has published an environmental impact report for the project which now has a 45 days for public review. The tribe will then negotiate with El Dorado County to mitigate and compensate the environmental impact of the project.

Red Hawk Casino has begun construction of a 5-story hotel with 150 rooms including 25 suites, a pool and a fitness center. The groundbreaking was held Thursday, June 24, and the completion date is expected in fall of 2022.

Red Hawk Casino announced it will reopen Monday June 8 at 2pm. To ensure the health and safety of all guests, Red Hawk will require everyone including employees to wear face masks and maintain social distancing.
Guests must pass a temperature check when entering. Face masks will be available for purchase. Employees must also pass the temperature check and wear masks. They must also wear gloves if required by their job.
The gaming floor and restaurants will be reconfigured for appropriate distancing. Slot tournaments will be temporarily suspended, and the poker room will be temporarily closed.
Other operation that will be suspended during the initial reopening phase include the Stage Bar live entertainment, motor coach transportation and VIP receptions.
