Red Hawk Casino Opens New Bingo Hall Monday as Expansion Moves Forward
PLACERVILLE, Calif., Sept. 20, 2026 — Red Hawk Resort + Casino will open its new dedicated bingo room Monday, Sept. 21, marking the completion of one component of a larger casino expansion that will ultimately shift smoking gaming into a separate pavilion and transition the main casino floor to a smoke-free environment.
The new Bingo Room is located in The Landing at Red Hawk. The casino has scheduled its first bingo session for 5:30 p.m. Monday. Regular sessions will be offered at 5:30 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays and at noon and 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
The 4,600-square-foot bingo venue is on the casino's lower level and was designed to accommodate as many as 400 guests. When Red Hawk Resort + Casino announced the project in May, it said the room would accommodate bingo as well as events and private functions.
The casino is also launching several bingo promotions in conjunction with the new room. Monday promotions include Beat the Bell, which provides qualifying players with an Early Bird Bonus Pack, and Money Ball Mania, which gives five randomly selected guests an opportunity to select a bingo ball number and win Bingo Bucks. Additional Saturday and Sunday promotions begin Sept. 26 and Sept. 27.

Although the bingo room will be the first of the recently announced casino improvements to open, construction work at the property is not finished.
The bingo venue is part of an expansion announced earlier this year that also includes a new gaming pavilion and the conversion of Red Hawk's primary casino floor to a smoke-free environment. The casino has described the overall program as part of a long-term strategy intended to improve the guest experience, streamline operations and provide additional space for entertainment and amenities.
The biggest piece still to come is the gaming pavilion.
The new pavilion will provide a separate area for smoking-permitted slot machines and table games. Once that space opens, smoking-related gaming activity will be moved into the pavilion while the main casino floor transitions to a smoke-free environment.
Bryan deLugo, president and CEO of Red Hawk Resort + Casino, said when the expansion was announced that creating a healthier environment for employees, guests and the surrounding community had been an important consideration in planning the property's future. He also said the change would make Red Hawk the region's only non-smoking casino.
The gaming pavilion remains scheduled to open during the first quarter of 2027.
That means Monday's bingo opening represents a milestone rather than the end of construction: the bingo component will be operational while work toward the separate smoking-gaming pavilion and accompanying smoke-free conversion continues.
Larger Development Plans Surround Red Hawk
The casino improvements are taking place alongside additional development plans being pursued by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians, which owns Red Hawk Resort + Casino.
Those plans include a proposed 5,000-seat indoor arena adjacent to the casino. The arena has been envisioned as a venue for concerts, sporting events, conventions and community gatherings, but as of the May project update, no formal construction start date had been announced.
The tribe is also advancing the 50 Oaks Family Golf Complex south of the casino. Plans call for a 12-hole, all-par-3 golf course, two-level driving range, miniature golf and an entertainment pavilion on an approximately 42-acre site. As of the May update, pre-construction activity was underway and an opening was targeted for late spring or early summer 2027, subject to permitting and final schedules.
For now, the attention shifts to bingo.
