A joint venture between Hard Rock International a Warner Gaming submitted a proposal to build a Hard Rock casino and hotel in an unincorporated area of Pope County.
The first phase of construction would cost $230 million and include a 44,450-square-foot casino, a 300-room hotel and a Bo Jackson Sports Complex.
The proposal was submitted in a formal application on May 31, 2019 to the Arkansas Racing Commission, which will begin its review after June 13. The Commission is authorized to make the final selection from a group of five applicants.
