Catawba Two Kings | New Construction Photos - Oct. 2025
The $1 billion Catawba Two Kings Casino Resort is in full-scale construction at Kings Mountain, NC, about 35 miles west Charlotte and 5 miles north of the South Carolina border.
The following photos of the Catawba Two Kings construction site were taken on Oct. 5, 2025.
The 24-story hotel structure has been progressing rapidly. In recent weeks, construction crew have been completing one floor per week.
When finished, the hotel will feature 385 guest room including luxury suites, spa and wellness center, fitness center, restaurants and bars, and event and meeting spaces.
The hotel tower will connect directly to the casino complex. The steel framework shown on the right side of the photo will provide hotel guests with a direct connection to restaurants and the casino gaming floor.

The six-story casino is on the left. The introductory casino will be on the ground floor of the casino building and will open in spring 2026.
