Catawba Two Kings Casino Construction Update | Sept. 2025

Construction of the Catawba Nation's $1 billion casino complex is proceeding rapidly in multiple stages with the introductory casino on track to open in spring 2026. This first-phase casino will be located on the ground floor of the building shown on the left side of this photo.

Catawba Two Kings Casino Resort 2027

This building will be five levels with a parking garage on the second, third and fourth levels and the main casino and dining on the top level. The parking garage will open to the public on the same day the introductory casino opens next spring and will provide parking for 2,700 vehicles.

Introductory Casino
The introductory casino will feature 1,336 slots, 20 table games, sports betting kiosks, a restaurant and a bar. The temporary Two Kings casino, which has operated 24/7 since July 1, 2021, will be shut down next year when the introductory casino opens.

The future main casino and the hotel tower will continue under construction and will open at the same time in the spring of 2027.

Main Casino
When the main casino opens, the introductory casino will be integrated into the gaming operation for a total of 4,300 slot machines and 100 table games. There will also be a sports bar and lounge, 11 restaurants and food venues, and 11 bars including a center bar.

Hotel
The hotel tower will be 24 stories with 385 rooms and will connect directly to the casino. That connection will be an indoor passageway, which is shown under construction in the above photo between the hotel shown on the right and the casino on the left. The hotel onstruction is proceeding at a rate of one floor per month.
