On Tuesday the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board released their report on the state's gaming revenues from January.

January revenue from PA casino's game tables saw a 1 percent decline from a year ago. The reported amount earned last month was $58.7 million.

Currently there are 1,078 gaming tables in operation at the state's 12 casinos.

The combined total from both slot machines and table games were $230 million. This was also a drop from a year ago at 7 percent.

Experts believe that the drop in revenue is related a drop in attendance based on the winter snow conditions.

$8.4 million in taxes was paid to the state from that money.
