Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs will be showing a special exhibit
called Deep Creek.
The exhibit will depict the way of life for a husband and wife living before the
Trail of Tears. The scene will take place on a Cherokee homestead between 1790
and 1800. The display will also be life sized.
The name Deep Creek was chosen based from the area where many of the Cherokee
lived before they were forced to move to Oklahoma.
The design of the exhibit was to give visitors a realistic view of tribal life.
