Apache Casino Hotel, previously formerly Fort Sill Apache Casino, has opened its new hotel addition.

The hotel cost $27 million to build.

The hotel opened its doors to guests on August 23. However, the official grand opening took place on August 25. Opening ceremonies included Fort Sill Apache fire dancers. There were also showgirls and a red carpet welcome.

Built on ten acres, the new hotel offers 132 guest rooms. There is a swimming pool, a restaurant, a bar, a day spa, and a gym for guests to enjoy. The hotel also offers a space for conferences and events. The hotel also has a $450,000 digital sign located at the front.

The casino floor has even been redesigned during the hotel construction. To allow for more gaming space, the casino changed the layout of the snack bar. The casino first began operating electronic gaming machines in 1999

It is estimated that the addition of the hotel will increase visitors to the casino. Due to this, gaming revenue is expected to increase to 20 percent.

The hotel project was funded in part by the Obama 2010 economic stimulus act. 120 jobs were created by this project.
