September Ohio Casino Revenue Report Released

Over the last year, Jack Cleveland Casino has reported an 8 percent in revenue. The reported amount was a total of $17.1 million. Of the four casinos in the state, this was the highest earning casino last month.

In September there was a 7 percent decline from one year ago at the Hollywood Casino Toledo. The amount earned was $14.7 million.

Jack Cincinnati Casino revenues were down 1 percent last month. Hollywood Casino Columbus reported a 3 percent decline.

On Friday the September gaming report was released by the Ohio Casino Commission.

$146.8 million has been earned by the Toledo casino for the year. Last year at this time, the amount was $146 million.

Gaming revenue are the only numbers included in the report. This excludes other sales, such as: merchandise, food, and drinks.

When comparing the year total from all the state casinos, the reported earnings equal $606.9 million. That is a decrease from last year of 1 percent.

The revenues earned from gaming at the casino is taxed 33 percent by the state. The money is used to support programs that aid the casino host cities, the counties, and schools.
